SPEED THE LIGHT
The concept is simple: we give so others can speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness. This is accomplished by providing the "essential transportation and creative communication" equipment for missionary evangelism. Through modern transportation, radio, television, print, audio, and digital equipment, our missionaries can help make Jesus known. (VIA the Speed the Light website). Through Speed the Light teen students can help our missionaries get to the field and speed the light of the gospel to a world in darkness

Students pictured participated in the National 1 in 1000 fundraiser for Speed the Light. In this fundraiser students do one thing one thousand times to raise awareness and money for missions!

Speed the Light Sunday
Each year the National Youth Department asks churches across the nation to devote one Sunday to Speed the Light and missions! We merge our Youth Sunday and STL Sunday together for a service led by the youth all about missions!
